As well as being a passionate and enthusiastic broadcaster Melissa was a proficient and prolific radio writer or commercials and current affairs program content. Radio is theatre of the mind. It’s about creating lasting imagery and powerful emotive responses to advertising and program content. Melissa is very good at that!
Melissa helps clients with creating and editing copy for radio and television commercials, print advertising and editorial material, prospectuses, brochures, web page content, grant applications etc.
Melissa is also a novelist and has completed two fiction novels – How to Leave a Perfectly Good Husband, and, The End is the Beginning. She is currently working on her third novel and has ideas and story concepts for about 400 more. Both of these novels are in pre-publication with release dates to be confirmed. Stay tuned!!
- Melissa has participated in the Sydney Writers Centre’s ‘Unlocking Creativity’ Course in 2011.
- She was a participant in the Brisbane Writers Festival’s ’20 Pages for 20 Minutes’ competition in 2011, and,
- Attended the Algonkian Novel Writers Workshop on Lake Potomac (Cape Fear) in Virginia, US in 2012.
